When you signed up for your Octopi user account, you entered an email address to use as your login and chose a unique password. This guide explains how to change your email address while logged in.

Before you begin
When you change your account email address, it changes the email address you use to log in to Octopi and the email address where you receive important Octopi notifications, including password resets.
Be sure to only enter a valid email where only you have secure access. Check that the new email address is entered accurately before saving.
Change your account email address
Use the following steps to change your account email address.
- Log in to your Octopi account using your current email address and password.
- Click your user name, usually your first and last name, in the far right corner of the purple top bar.
- Click Profile in the dropdown menu.
- Locate the Email field and enter the new email address in the field.
- Click Save.
